It all started in March 2002. I got enough money to go buy a DV camera, so I did. Then Kia (brother) and I went off and films
some stunts that make Crazy Monkey look like Dirty Sanchez in comparison. Shortly after Matt and Mike got involved and the
quality of the stunts was increased. Not by much but still they were better.
After a few months of this stuntage I had gathered 6 episodes and a 50 minute movie of Cunning Stunts. But, after a freakishly
long chain of really unlucky events, this material was lost forever. First in the chain was when Matt deleted the project
folder for the movie, so the source of all the stunts since March was gone, just like that. Then, something went wrong and
ruined the Hard drive the actual movies themselves were on. all in one day, 6 months of about as many people's lives were
lost.
Fast forward to just after then. Mufti day 2002. This was the second longest movie to be made, at around 10 minutes. Then,
after another month of filming, this was extended to 20 minutes. In this movie was footage from the 6th Cunning Stunts episode
that I found on the tape.
Then it all went quiet. Until March 2003.
Red Nose day was filmed but still not edited to this day, and its around somewhere on a tape. Then i got my new computer,
and the shock of my life in May. The new computer's hard drive was none other than the one with the old series on it, just
repaired and lacking the 50 minute video, which, it was revealed later, had to be deleted as it was over 20GB of uncompressed
video and sound.
So, Cunning Stunts really got a second birth the moment i found those movies. And so, in the old school spirit of Cunning
Stunts, I am working on a New movie, thats going to be better than anything done before.
